Prints & Things : You Are Enough

YouAreEnough-IreneVictoria

I’m sorry it’s been so quiet around here. I was swamped with some pretty amazing projects and I’m only now starting to catch my breath.  As a small business owner, and designer in general, I’m starting to realize how important it to find your balance and make time for the things you love (besides work, of course). This month will be about finding balance and I encourage my other creative friends to do so too! Over the next few weeks I foresee more gym dates, happy hours, homemade dinners and blog posts filled with inspiration and little pieces of my work.

With that said, I’m so happy to get things rolling with a new print! I’ve been meaning to make this print for a while now and I finally found some time to play in Illustrator. “You are enough” is a little piece of advice I’ve been telling myself lately and I think it’s finally starting to sink in. It’s so easy to get caught up in where you’re going or get down on yourself for not getting there fast enough. But at the end of the day, you shouldn’t let your present self suffer because of your ambition. So even if you’ve been putting off the gym, or your house is a little messy or you’re not quite where you want to be, just remember that in this moment you are still enough…so keep shining!

PS — make sure to check back this week for a new process post! I’ll be sharing a web strategy I crafted for new brand. I’ll give you a hint: it’s about food. Delicious.

PSS — I totally switched up the colour on this from a couple days ago. Sometimes my mood changes and I’m not feeling a particular colour palette anymore. It probably wouldn’t surprise you that I’m also the type of person to change my outfit 5 or 6 times before leaving the house. My poor boyfriend, but he always waits patiently!
